# Skedulo Is Now a Workday Design-Approved Scheduling App

Skedulo's frontline scheduling integration is now Design Approved by Workday. Connect Workday HCM to field and shift execution — live on Workday Marketplace.

Skedulo is now available on Workday Marketplace. As a Workday Innovation Partner, Skedulo submitted its integration use case and reference architecture for review and has earned the **Workday Design Approved** designation. For any organization that runs Workday and coordinates field or shift work, those two systems now connect directly.

Workday is the system of record for your people. Skedulo is the system of execution for their work — on-site or in the field. Until now, those two jobs lived in two places, and the gap between them was filled by hand.

## The gap this closes: Disconnected systems are costing you

You've invested in Workday to run your people data: who works for you, what they're qualified to do, where they sit in the organization. But for the clinicians, technicians, carers, and field crews who make up roughly 80% of the workforce, the daily schedule has often lived somewhere else entirely: in spreadsheets, a standalone rostering tool, or a chain of messages.

The cost isn't in any one of those tools; it's in the seams between them. Worker data updated in Workday doesn't reach the schedule. A schedule built outside Workday drifts from the source of truth. Every exception becomes manual work, and the team ends up managing the schedule instead of managing the business.

The integration addresses that directly: the people data you maintain in Workday now drives how frontline work is scheduled and run, without the re-keying in between.

## What Design Approved means

Design Approved means Workday reviewed and approved Skedulo's integration use case and proposed reference architecture: how the two systems are designed to connect. It's a design-stage review by Workday, not a full certification of a finished integration.

What gives the approach its weight is the part buyers care about most: the integration is already running in production. Organizations like the American Red Cross and Solace Pediatric Healthcare use Skedulo with Workday data to run their frontline operations today (more on their results below). The design is one Workday has reviewed at the architecture level, and one that customers have proven in the field.

## How the integration works

Skedulo extends Workday into frontline execution rather than duplicating it. Worker profiles and organizational data stay anchored in Workday HCM. From there:

- Employee records, roles, and availability flow from Workday Human Capital Management (Workday HCM) into Skedulo.
- AI-native optimization matches the right worker to the right job against skills, location, credentials, and availability across recurring shift schedules and one-off field jobs in a single platform. The same worker can cover a roster in the morning and take a field job in the afternoon, without double-booking.
- Scheduling, dispatch, and mobile execution happen in Skedulo, reflecting the same workforce data your managers already see in Workday.

The result is one current view of who's available and where work needs to happen, with less double entry, fewer scheduling conflicts, and fewer compliance gaps across distributed teams.

## Built for the frontline, proven at scale

Skedulo manages more than 65 million on-time appointments for over 250 enterprise customers across healthcare, field service, energy, and beyond. The organizations running distributed operations on Skedulo include:

- **30%** lower scheduling costs — American Red Cross
- **43%** faster scheduling — American Red Cross
- **84%** fewer patient no-shows — Solace Pediatric Healthcare

These are the outcomes that show up when the schedule stops being a daily firefight and starts being a system.

> Workday knows your people. Skedulo is where their work actually gets done — on a job site, in a patient's home, across a shift. With our app on Workday Marketplace, that connection is now a direct one. Operations teams spend less time reconciling spreadsheets and more time running the business. — Matt Fairhurst, CEO and co-founder, Skedulo
