_Work in motion_

## One app for field work, shift work, and everything in between.

Whether your team is visiting customers, working a shift, or doing both, keep the day's work in one place. Move from the schedule to the details and tasks that need attention.

### From the first job to the last.

See the day's route, check the details at each visit, and record the work as you complete it.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone cut off at its lower third, showing a field technician's agenda for Wednesday 13 August: the week strip, a map of the afternoon with numbered stops, and the jobs on a numbered rail with the drive between them. The water changeover at 123 Birch St is opened: its page shows the site on a map, In progress, its tasks; the site contact sign-off is ticked and Complete turns it into Job complete at 3:28pm. Back on the agenda the job shows Complete and the quarterly site inspection, 27 min and 3.3 mi away, is next_

### Stay on top of every shift.

See upcoming shifts and respond to offers or schedule changes. When it's time to work, track time and complete shift tasks in the same app.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone cut off at its lower third: a support worker's Summary at 1:52, today's 2pm - 10pm shift starting in 8 minutes and the next three shifts. A banner offers an open shift on Sunday 9 March; its page shows the clinic on a map, the role and Accept, which is pressed, and Sunday 9 March joins the upcoming shifts. At 2:00 the shift's page opens: Start shift is pressed, the shift is in progress with its start time recorded, and at 5:48 the medication rounds task is ticked done_

### Field and shift work, together.

Support people whose shifts include customer visits, appointments, or other work. Manage the shift and its individual assignments in one mobile experience.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone cut off at its lower third: a nurse's Summary for an 8:00am - 2:00pm community shift in South Brisbane, in progress with its timer running and Start break and End shift. Under it, the three home visits on the shift: wound care for Margaret Boyd, complete; medication administration for Ray Tanaka, in progress; a wellbeing check for Glenys Hart. Complete visit is pressed and Ray's visit turns complete, then Start travel is pressed and Glenys's visit shows en route while the shift keeps its own clock_

_Availability and preferences_

## Manage availability, requests, and preferences in one place.

Set regular availability, submit one-off changes and respond to work offers. Mobile preferences are yours to manage; availability requests follow your team's approval process.

Recurring availability and time-off requests can be managed from your phone. Schedulers can review submitted changes alongside existing assignments and the coverage they need.

_Progress and location_

## Put progress on the map.

Connect each stage of the visit to when and where it happened. Follow progress from travel through arrival, check-in, and departure, with navigation available to guide the journey.

Navigate to the next visit, see how close you are to the site, and record progress along the way. Bring proximity, location, and status updates together so base can see where the visit stands and when each stage happened.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile job page on an iPhone on a hatched ground, the phone cut off at the bottom: quarterly site inspection JOB-4803 opens on a real map of Denver, the job's pin on 1160 Pioneer Way and a mark where the technician set off, 123 Birch St. Her location dot moves along E 1st Ave, Speer Blvd and W 8th Ave as the distance counts down from 3.3 mi, then You're at the site. The status runs En route, On site, In progress, Complete as Navigate becomes Check in and Check out; the timeline fills: en route 3:38 PM, arrived 4:05, checked in 4:09, departed 5:23._

_Forms, checklists and inspections_

## Forms and checklists, ready for the job.

Open the forms, checklists, and inspections your assignment calls for. Complete them from your phone and capture the information your operation needs.

Use forms with required fields, validation, and questions that change based on your answers. Capture the details each inspection calls for without working through questions that don't apply.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile job page on an iPhone on a hatched ground, the phone cut off at the bottom: the quarterly site inspection JOB-4803 opens on a map of 1160 Pioneer Way and lists its forms - Site checklist, required, step 3 of 5; the risk assessment completed; the equipment register not started. The checklist opens on asset inspection and isolator AST-1152 is marked Fail, which adds a rose rule and two required questions: the fault description types in, does not latch in the off position, a photo of the valve is attached, and the rule turns green - fault recorded, ready to quote._

_Frontline communication_

## Stay in touch across every shift and site.

Message a colleague, discuss a job in a group or share an update with a team channel. Photos and files can make a question from the field easier to answer.

Message individuals or groups, share team-wide updates, and request a response when needed. See who's replied so you know where to follow up. Notifications help bring new messages to your team's attention.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone on a hatched ground, the phone cut off at the bottom: the #north-region channel at 9:08, where Gloria Benitez shared a delay on JOB-4821 and Mark Doherty answered. A notification drops in from Mark Doherty - Rebooked. New window on the job - 2:40 to 4:10. Tapped, it opens their direct messages on that message: Mark asked if she can make 2:40 if he pushes the window, she said yes, the parkway will be clear by then, and his rebook carries the job card - Water changeover service, today 2:40 - 4:10 PM, JOB-4821._

_Time capture and review_

## Track the time you put in.

Clock in and out, record breaks, and track time against jobs or shifts from the Skedulo mobile app.

Review scheduled and recorded time, including clock-ins, clock-outs and breaks. Explanations for differences stay with the record for review; approved time can be shared through configured integrations.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone on a hatched ground, the phone cut off at the bottom: Kevin Maszaros's Today card at 10:20 PM, his afternoon shift at Ward B, Southbank, the timer past 8 hours. He taps End shift and the shift's time opens: scheduled 2:00 to 10:00 PM in grey over the actual 2:12 to 10:20 PM in blue, the break in both, 20 minutes over in amber; clock in 12 min late for traffic, the break as scheduled, clock out 20 min over. He picks Handover ran over, submits it to Jen Alvarez, and it comes back approved and sent to payroll._

_Extend and customize_

## Bring more of the process to the frontline.

Extend Mobile with custom forms, pages, and actions. Connect them to your operational data and systems so your team can handle more of the work in one app.

### Build forms around your work.

Build forms and checklists around what your team needs to capture. Adapt questions to earlier answers, so people spend less time working through fields that do not apply.

### Go one step further with mobile extensions.

Build custom mobile pages with related records and actions, from an asset inspection to a service-history view.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone on a hatched ground, cut off at its foot: Site access, a custom page in the app linked to JOB-4803, Pioneer Way campus and Gloria Benitez - gate code 4417, Pioneer badge on file, permit to work PTW-2026-0884, Helen Pryor meets you - and the site's notes. The permit row is tapped and its record rises in a sheet over the page: issued by Helen Pryor, plant room level 3, expiring Fri 15 Aug, 5:00 PM. Done closes it, Log site entry turns green - entry logged at 4:05 PM - and Entered reads 4:05 PM._

### Actions from Mobile

Configure work creation, rescheduling and self-scheduling actions for the frontline, with access and approvals suited to each role.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone on a hatched ground, cut off at its foot: job details for JOB-4821, a water changeover service, opening on a map of the site, then the actions approved for the team - Create follow-up job, Reschedule, Open jobs nearby - and the job's tasks. Create follow-up job raises a sheet: a unit 2 one-week re-test from JOB-4821 and Gloria's own open times. Wed 20 Aug, 2:00 - 3:00 PM is picked, Assign to me is on, Create and book is pressed, and the row turns green: JOB-4872 booked to you, Wed 20 Aug, 2:00 PM._

### Approvals and follow-up

A submitted form or status change can start a configured workflow for review, approval or follow-up work.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone on a hatched ground, cut off at its foot: the progress of JOB-4803 from request to result - requested in Salesforce as work order 00012345, dispatched to Gloria Benitez, on site at 4:05 PM, isolator AST-1152 failed with follow-up JOB-4871 for Aaron Feldman, the site checklist signed off by Helen Pryor. Complete job is pressed and turns green, and the rest lands in turn: complete at 5:21 PM, the work order completed in Salesforce, sent to Finance for invoicing at 5:22 PM, the handover to Aaron Feldman at 5:24 PM._

### Open connected tools

Configured links can open another Skedulo screen or an enterprise app used in your workflow.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile app on an iPhone on a hatched ground, cut off at its foot, on Thursday morning: a push from Wade Brennan drops in - approved your time and expenses for Wed 13 Aug - and tapping it opens that record in the app: work time, 5 jobs, 7.25 hours; mileage $17.22; parking $12.00. Submitted turns Approved and his approval at 8:30 AM lands; under Connected, the approved hours go to Workday time tracking - waiting for approval, sending, then sent at 8:30 AM - beside an Open in Workday button._

_Localization_

## Mobile, in your team's language.

Mobile supports English and Spanish, with language packs available for additional languages. Language, dates, and times follow device settings, and custom extensions can be localized for your team.

Use wording your team recognizes in the pages you build. Add translations for headings, labels, and other on-screen text, with the displayed language selected from the device settings.

_Illustration: Two Skedulo mobile phones on the same job, JOB-4803, a quarterly site inspection at 1160 Pioneer Way, Denver: behind, an iPhone in English at 4:08; in front, a Pixel in Spanish at 16:08. Both open on the site's map and scroll together to the job: ON SITE, Wed, Aug 13, 4:00 - 6:00 PM on one, EN SITIO, mié, 13 de ago, 16:00 - 18:00 on the other. Start work and Iniciar trabajo are pressed on both, and each turns into a green notice: Work started at 4:09 PM, Trabajo iniciado a las 16:09. Under Formularios: Lista de verificación del sitio and Acceso al sitio_

_Offline and connectivity_

## Work through patchy coverage.

Save supported job changes on your device when the signal drops. See what's waiting to sync and send updates back to the office when you're online again.

### Saved on your device

Offline job changes stay marked pending until they can sync.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile job details on an iPhone with no signal: a dark strap under the blue app bar reads 2 changes waiting to sync, over the map of 1160 Pioneer Way, Denver. The quarterly site inspection, JOB-4803, is in progress; under Tasks, Test emergency lighting (done at 4:12 PM) and Tag out isolator AST-1152 (done at 4:24 PM) are ticked and each marked PENDING, stored on the phone. The status bar reads 4:31 with the signal grayed out_

### Synced with the office

Once connected, check which pending changes have gone through.

### Accessibility, built in.

Use larger text and familiar native controls, with larger tap targets and spacing that make mobile actions easier.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile job details on an iPhone at a larger text size: a bigger app bar title, status and address, and larger task rows with bigger check circles and more space between them - Test emergency lighting and Tag out isolator AST-1152 ticked and marked SYNCED, Replace fire door closer still open - the page scrolled past the map so the tasks stay in view_

### Dark mode.

Mobile follows your device settings to display the app in dark mode, supporting early starts and work after dark.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile job details on an iPhone in dark mode, following the device: a near-black page with light text under the blue app bar, the map of 1160 Pioneer Way in dark colors, the quarterly site inspection in progress, and under Tasks two tasks ticked in green and marked SYNCED, with Replace fire door closer still open_

_Mobile AI_

## Put your words to work.

Speak or type what happened. Mobile AI uses the context of your work to help fill in forms, update status, and log readings while you're in the field or on shift.

The job's checklist and required fields guide the entry, alongside its instructions and safety context.

_Illustration: Skedulo mobile service report on an iPhone on a hatched ground, the phone cut off at the bottom: JOB-4821 at Pioneer Health Systems, In progress, with Mobile AI under its mark at the top. The technician holds the mic and her words stream in - pressure test passed at 62 PSI, cleaned and refitted the strainer, Helen signed off, job's done. She lets go and each answer lands in the form, marked: test pressure 62 PSI, in range; the strainer item ticked; signed off by Helen Pryor; the job status moved to Complete - 4 updates from what you said._

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What is a mobile workforce management app?

It gives people working in the field or on shift access to their schedule and assignment details. In Skedulo Mobile, they can complete forms, exchange messages, record progress and track time, with updates shared back to the office when connected.

### How is Skedulo's mobile app different from a standalone field service or shift app?

Mobile supports field visits, shifts and days that include both. A worker can follow a shift and its assigned tasks or visits in the same app, using the work records held in Skedulo.

### Does the app work offline?

Yes, for supported actions. Job changes made without a signal are saved on the device and marked pending. They sync when the connection returns. Confirm offline support for the actions and extensions your team uses.

### Can the office see changes made offline?

Not until they sync. Changes saved on the device remain pending while it is offline. Once the device reconnects and synchronization succeeds, those updates become available to the office.

### Can workers clock in and record time in the app?

Yes. Workers can clock in and out, record breaks and track time against jobs or shifts. Managers review the recorded hours through your approval process before they are used by connected systems.

### What languages does the app support?

Mobile supports English and Spanish, with language packs available for additional languages. Language, dates and times follow device settings. Custom mobile extensions can also be localized.

### Can we customize the mobile experience for our workflows?

Yes. Build forms and checklists, add custom mobile pages and configure actions for your workflows. Extensions can use operational records and connect to other systems, so workers can handle more of the process in Mobile.
