# Form Builder: New Components and Default Values Support

Form Builder now supports Segment and Radio button components and lets admins set default values, making mobile forms faster to build and quicker to complete.

**What's new**

- **Segment component:** Segment button component is now available for single-choice selections. Segment buttons let mobile users make a choice with a single tap and take up less screen space than a dropdown, which is useful on longer forms. Segment components map to the Picklist field type and support up to four options.
- **Radio button component:** Add a Radio button component as another single-choice option. Radio buttons show all choices at once for faster selection and also map to the Picklist field type.

For both Segment and Radio components, basic forms let you enter options directly, while advanced forms auto-generate read-only options from the vocabulary of the mapped Picklist field, matching how Dropdown components already work.

- **Default values for components:** Pre-populate fields when a form opens so field workers start with sensible values already in place. You can set defaults for Text input, Text area, Number, Dropdown, Multi-dropdown, and Toggle components, including pre-selecting one or more Dropdown options and setting a Toggle to true or false. Default values reduce manual entry and help improve form completion rates by giving fields a starting point.

These enhancements give admins more ways to design mobile forms that are faster to complete, improving field worker efficiency and supporting more complex business needs.
