# Geo-based Proximity Workflow Enforcement

Admins can now configure the maximum distance from the job location within which their mobile users can start or complete jobs. This aims to improve the precision of the mobile user workflow.

We are excited to release the new Geo-based Proximity Workflow Enforcement feature that helps improve accuracy in resource workflow and timesheet reporting.

We have added two new settings in the Skedulo Web app under the ** Settings > Scheduling > Jobs **:

- Prevent resources from starting work outside a specified radius from the scheduled location
- Prevent resources from starting work outside a specified radius from the scheduled location

The distance unit of these settings reflect the Distance Format set by Admin user on ** Web app configuration > Preferences **.

When these settings are enabled, mobile users will not be able to start or complete jobs when they are further away than the maximum distance from the jobs, set by admins. They will receive a warning message letting them know that they are not within the allowed distance from their assigned jobs.
