# Hours and minutes for work hour limits

Published October 13, 2026

**Product areas:** Web App
**Roles:** Schedulers
**Platforms:** Skedulo Pulse Platform, Skedulo On Salesforce

Maximum and minimum work hours on Resource Details now take hours and minutes in 15-minute steps, so schedulers can set limits like 7h 30m.

Schedulers can now set maximum and minimum work hours on Resource Details to the quarter hour, for example 7h 30m. Until now these fields only took whole hours, and values like 7.5 had to come in through a bulk import.

**What's new**

- **Hours and minutes input:** Both fields now take hours and minutes for Day, Week, Two weeks, and Four weeks periods.
- **15-minute increments:** Minutes can be 0, 15, 30, or 45.
- **No change to optimization or imports:** Limits are saved as decimal hours, so 7h 30m is stored as 7.5. Imports, the API, and the optimizer read the same values as before, and optimization caps the Resource at the limit you enter.
- **Imported values stay as imported:** A value imported outside 15-minute steps, such as 3.7 hours, is saved unchanged unless you edit that field.
