# RAP Region Restrictions for Optimization Runs

RAP region restrictions have been added to the optimization history list so users only see optimization runs for regions they have access to. This applies to new runs only; existing runs remain unchanged.

**Overview**

We’ve introduced **RAP region restrictions** to the Optimization history list to ensure users only see Optimization runs relevant to their permitted regions. Each new Optimization run will now include region metadata, and visibility in the list will be filtered by the regions accessible to the user.

**Details**

- New Optimization runs will automatically include associated region metadata.
- The Optimization history list now filters results to display only the runs linked to regions visible to the user.
- The primary region of a run defines its visibility; if a run includes secondary region resources, users must also have access to those regions to view its results.
- These restrictions apply to **new runs only**;** **existing runs are unaffected,
