Following the company’s exponential growth in the region, Skedulo adds a technical development hub and expands its U.K. office

October 20, 2020 (San Francisco)Skedulo, the leader in deskless productivity software, announces its expansion to Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) following its 400% year-over-year growth rate and securing one of the region’s largest utility suppliers as a customer. Skedulo is doubling its footprint in the region by expanding its EMEA sales team and adding to its technical development team to further support customers in the region.

Deskless workers make up 80% of the global workforce. Skedulo recognizes that this area of the workforce has traditionally been underserved by the tech community, and that is why this expanded office will serve as a tech hub that is committed to further innovating the platform to solve for the challenges faced by deskless workers across the healthcare, utilities and residential and field service industries, among others. With the deskless workforce continuing to grow, a recent study by Skedulo found that 86% of IT leaders agree their deskless workers need a dedicated software platform built for their specific needs.

“We have made a lot of inroads across the EMEA market over the last year and see it as an opportunity to further expand our global footprint,” said Matt Fairhurst, CEO of Skedulo. “Skedulo is devoted to developing creative solutions to solve the most unique challenges that the deskless workforce faces, which has traditionally been a highly underserved portion of the global workforce by tech companies.”

Wendy Kinney, EVP of global sales and solutions, will work closely with Jason Stokes, who will oversee sales across EMEA, to further expand the company’s presence in the region; Paul Schultz, EVP of technology and innovation, will oversee the development team. The three executives’ global presence proves Skedulo’s commitment to providing innovative technology that can be deployed by businesses everywhere.

This announcement comes on the heels of recently being named a leading provider of software in the field service management industry by G2 Crowd — a peer-to-peer review site for technology and software — as well as the successful launch of Skedulo’s capacity-based appointment scheduling solution, which was created to solve for the unprecedented challenges presented by COVID-19. This award-winning solution was built with healthcare workers in mind, enabling them to better manage the high volume of people booking COVID-19 tests.
