Skedulo Raises $28 Million in Series B Funding Round Led by M12

Matt FairhurstThe World Needs the Platform for Mobile Workforce Management.
Our clear and critical mission
Today I’m excited to announce the closing of our $28 million Series B Funding led by M12, with participation from returning investors Blackbird and Costanoa Ventures. As part of the financing, I’m excited to welcome, Priya Saiprasad, Principal of M12, to Skedulo’s Board of Directors.
Since day one, Skedulo has been focused on helping companies overcome the significant challenges of managing their deskless workforce. This is an increasingly complex problem that impacts billions of mobile workers across millions of enterprises worldwide. It’s a problem that I, and the team at Skedulo, continue to be committed to addressing at scale.
I’m continually fascinated by the many unique and interesting ways that our product is used, the variety of businesses and use-cases that we help facilitate, and by how quickly technology can influence positive change to process and people's lives. We found a strong sense of aligned purpose with Priya and the team at M12 - and their desire to invest in companies that helped reduce cycles in a person’s working day. Fundamentally Skedulo is a productivity company. We help companies, the back-office and mobile workforce, reduce the number of cycles it takes to get work done and give them time back to focus on the work that matters most.
We’re investing in the growth of our teams in Brisbane and Sydney in Australia, San Francisco in the USA, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and London in the UK. We’re a global team with an audacious global mission. If you want to join our wonderful team of talented people, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re excited to continue to lead the way in building the best Mobile Workforce Management platform for the modern, deskless workforce. We’re focused particularly on our Mastermind intelligence capabilities - helping organizations purposely automate and optimize work and the workforce, as well as analytics and measurement features. We continue to recognize that we’re often not the only technology that businesses are using day to day - and that integration is an important part of our value, so we’re enabling more integrations with enterprise systems of record, such as human resource management, financial management, electronic health records, and payroll systems. This will serve to increase workflow capabilities while delivering greater flexibility around customization and configuration.
As I reflect back on the last 5 years, I’m grateful most of all for people. To our past and current employees and team members - thank you for your hard work, passion and enthusiasm. To our customers - thank you. Thank you for your insight, your patience and your partnership. We strive to wake up every day thinking about how we can make your lives better. To our future employees and team members - welcome in advance! We can’t wait for you to join the team and see how you’ll contribute to our shared mission.
Matt
