Skedulo is now a part of the G-Cloud 11 Framework

Angela GonzalesFor the second year in a row, Mobile Workforce Management solution Skedulo has been selected as an approved supplier for the G-Cloud 11 Framework. The G-Cloud framework initiative was created in 2012 to help ease the procurement process of public-sector bodies.
With the rapid changes to where, when, and how we work being brought about by new forms of mobile and cloud-based technology, we are very excited to be part of the G-Cloud 11 framework. This emphasis on technology and innovation within the UK comes at an interesting moment in time when compared to the US.
In the US, we often look to the private sector as the frontrunner for innovation, as many of the services we use are provided to us by private companies or non-governmental organizations. However, this is not the case in the UK, where the vast majority of the public relies on public services offered by various layers of the UK Government. These public sector bodies are rapidly adopting new technologies and modernizing how their workers perform their jobs with the goal of better serving the public. We have seen a similar emphasis on innovation from the government in Australia, where Skedulo has helped numerous governmental and NDIS/Healthcare related organizations modernize the management of their mobile workforce.
In the UK, with the government and public sector being the champion of technology and innovation, we are excited that Skedulo has been selected as an approved supplier of Mobile Workforce Management for the G-Cloud 11 Framework. Organizations that successfully apply and are accepted onto the framework are added to the GOV Digital Marketplace. Public sector organizations are then allowed to buy directly from these approved vendors as well as tender invitations under a standardized contract as negotiated as part of the application process for the framework.
