As part of our ongoing support for functions, and to align with policies of our underlying infrastructure providers, we continually review and update which versions of Node.js we support..

With this release, we have removed support for:

  • Node.js version 16

With this release, we have added support for:

  • Node.js version 22

Additionally, we are announcing that as of 1 March 2026, we will end support for:

  • Node.js version 18

  • Node.js version 20

Functions created prior to the end of support date will continue to operate; however, you will be unable to create new functions or update existing functions using unsupported versions after that time. To modify existing functions, you will be required to upgrade your code to a supported version. We recommend functions be migrated to the latest supported version.

Skedulo SDK support

The legacy Skedulo SDK will not be updated to support newer versions of Node.js, which will impact local development of functions. We recommend that you transition to the Skedulo CLI for local development of Connected functions.
