Meet Tempo, the operating agent for schedulers and dispatchers

October 20, 2026

Tempo is Skedulo's operating agent for schedulers and dispatchers, and it is now in early access. Call-outs, late arrivals and other issues arrive in an inbox that you share with Tempo. For each issue, Tempo collects what the issue touches and proposes a plan. It asks before it does anything that cannot be undone.

What's new

  • Context for every task: Tempo puts the related job, people, skills, availability, travel and allocation history into context cards beside the task. Every card shows where its data came from. Times use your tenant's date format and the record's region time zone.
  • Plans you approve: Tempo lists every action in a plan, with all details, before you select Use this plan. Your organization decides where approval is required. In auto mode, each item in a batch counts toward the auto-approve limit, so a large batch still asks first.
  • Questions when Tempo needs you: When a decision needs your experience, Tempo asks in a Questions card, and the task shows "Waiting on you".
  • Chat with Tempo: Ask about your schedule in your own words. Tempo answers from your live schedule and records. You can attach PNG or JPEG images, and Tempo shows what it read from each one. Select Stop to end a run at any time.
  • Live brief: The inbox opens on a summary of the day. The summary starts with the items that need you, then shows key numbers and pending approvals.
  • Feedback: Rate Tempo's work so your team and Skedulo can see what works well.
