Previously, when building a mobile form using the MEX framework, developers had to predefine all the components during the implementation. These components were the same for all mobile users who accessed the forms and couldn't be changed after the form was deployed. This meant that the forms could not adapt to individual user needs or contextual variations after deployment, which limited their flexibility with regards to dynamic or customized workflows.

With the new Dynamic Content component, organizations can now create forms that adapt dynamically based on context, supporting flexible workflows and reducing the need to build several versions of one form for different user groups.

Key highlights:

  • Creating personalized experiences: Adjust form components and layouts in real time based on user roles, permissions, or other criteria such as page layouts for different record types.
  • Supports page and component levels: Dynamically show or hide entire pages or individual components in the form to align with your organization’s specific workflows.
  • Compatible with all forms: Works with both online and offline forms.

This component is available starting from MEX engine version 1.16 for both offline and online forms.
