We have added a new setting in the Skedulo Web app under Settings > Mobile app configuration > Mobile Settings > Availability: Allow resources to create their own recurring availabilities. This setting is disabled by default.

To enable this feature in Skedulo Plus app, several conditions need to be met:

  • The org is using Availability Pattern, this is enabled by turning on the useAvailabilityPatterns feature flag.
  • Users have the permission to View and modify availability in their given Skedulo role. E.g., to enable this permission for the Resource role, go to settings/user-roles, then under Availability section in Resource Role, check the View and modify availability box.
  • For Salesforce orgs specifically: users will need permission to view/edit/delete these following objects: Availability Pattern and Availability Pattern Resource .
  • The web app setting Allow resources to create their own recurring availabilities under Settings > Mobile app configuration > Mobile Settings > Availability is enabled.

When this feature is enabled, in the Skedulo Plus app, mobile users will see a new Manage tab where they can view availability patterns assigned to them and can create their own weekly recurring patterns.

Users can only edit and delete their own weekly recurring patterns. Patterns created by others and assigned to users are view-only and indicated with lock icons.
