We’ve introduced the ability to capture repeating periods of resource unavailability. This update further enhances the flexibility and robustness of Skedulo’s availability management capabilities.
Unavailability patterns have the flexibility to operate in one of the following ways:
- Layered over availability patterns, which easily handles scenarios where a default availability pattern has been defined across the workforce (such as 24/7 availability). An unavailability pattern can then be created for an individual resource to capture their unique times of unavailability that need to be respected.
- Standing alone and operating as the inverse of availability patterns, capturing unavailability periods and considering all other times as available.
