Requires manual installation

This release of the Skedulo for Salesforce managed package will not be proactively pushed to customer orgs by Skedulo and requires manual installation to enable the changes mentioned in these notes (See Manual Installation Links).

Package testing should be completed and the package installed in your production environment as required.

What's New?

Permission checking mechanisms are updated so that the object and field permissions for operations performed through Skedulo system match those performed directly in Salesforce for the same user.

In particular, the following usage scenarios now work correctly:

  • A user without Edit permission on a field is not able to set the field to null.
  • A user with Create permission, but without Edit permission on an object, is able to insert records of the object.

Four optional custom fields have been added to Resource object:

  • Working Hours Time Period of type picklist
  • Working Hours Start of type Date
  • Working Hours Min of type Number
  • Working Hours Max of type Number
