How long have you been with Skedulo?

I’ve been at Skedulo now for about 4 and a half years.

Why did you choose to work with Skedulo?

I wanted to join Skedulo when the opportunity came around because it was a newish company at the time. It was also an Australian born and bred company and I could see the potential for it to go global.

What’s your favorite thing about your role with Skedulo?

My favourite thing is working with customers, working out what they want, and delivering solutions for them. My role also enables me to be challenged everyday which I enjoy.

Have you ever nominated someone for the Skedgend Award and why?

Yes, I’ve regularly nominated colleagues for the Skedgend Award – just due to the fact that they do a great job and make my job a little bit easier.

I nominated one Skedgend because they provided great customer service and I know the customer really appreciated it.

What does winning the Skedgend Award mean to you?

I’ve been nominated quite a few times so it was great to actually win. I was starting to think I was the Meryl Streep of Skedulo! It was an appreciation from the company and my colleagues of the work I do so I was stoked to win it.

What stories supported your win for the Skedgend Award?

When I was reading the award nominations it was great that people appreciated my knowledge within the healthcare industry, and knowing that customers were asking for me by name made me feel really good.

What Skedgend values do you feel you embody most?

Customer Driven resonates with me most because when I’m working with customers I always put myself in their position and try to deliver what they would expect.

What motivates you to work hard?

Working with customers, delivering good solutions,
and working with the team. I don’t see it as working hard,
I just enjoy the work.

What is your proudest accomplishment at Skedulo?

My proudest accomplishment at Skedulo is being recognised as the healthcare expert. Considering I started this position with little knowledge in healthcare, I’ve found it’s a great industry to work in and being recognised in that area is great.

What’s been the biggest surprise about working at Skedulo?

Just the massive growth Skedulo has had over the past couple of years. When I started there were less than 100 people and we’re now pushing 250. It’s surprising how quickly it has grown and how we’ve expanded into different countries and different industries.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you at Skedulo?

Sometimes when I’m working with customers I forget which customer I’m working with due to the fact that I work with so many!

How does being at Skedulo allow you to be your best self?

Skedulo enables me to work to my strengths: working with customers, putting solutions together, and working with others.

What is unique about Skedulo’s culture?

The people we work with, the way we work together, and the product we’re delivering.

What are you most excited about in 2021?

The end of COVID would be great so we can all work in the same office together and actually travel to see customers, which is something I thought I’d never say 2 years ago when I was travelling quite a bit. But I’m actually looking forward to getting on a plane and seeing customers and getting stuck at an airport for a while.
