Tech Girls Movement Foundation

Skedulo San Francisco recently hosted some of the winners of the Tech Girls Movement Foundation 2018 Women in Digital Educational Leadership Award. The group of 11 girls traveled from Australia to pitch demos of their award-winning apps to tech companies throughout the Bay Area, including a panel of female leaders at Skedulo. After their presentations, we celebrated their success with a pizza party. We were amazed by the work they are doing to help address issues of domestic violence, mental health, and environmental sustainability back in their local communities and look forward to seeing what the Tech Girls Movement Foundation does next!
SF Marin Food Bank

Skedulo San Francisco team spent the afternoon with our Salesforce partner volunteering in the warehouse at the SF Marin Food Bank where projects typically involve sorting fresh produce, packaging bulk foods, assembling grocery boxes for seniors, and sorting donations from food drives. Together we portioned out 1,960 pounds of frozen peas into individual one pound bags that will go to feed the 1 in 4 individuals in The Bay Area that are struggling with hunger.
FUEL Industry Ignite Partner Program

Skedulo is partnered with the FUEL Industry Ignite Partner Program aimed at connecting Secondary School-aged girls with women across a variety of industries in order to motivate, inspire, and drive them to build their confidence and assist them reaching their full potential. As part of this program, Skedulo opened it’s doors to a Parent & Daughter breakfast where the girls can connect with the Women at Skedulo so they can gain better insight into the Tech Industry and learn about all the different possible career paths in Tech.

Fort Mason Clean Up

Fort Mason, a historic landmark that served as a crucial Army post in World War II, is now a popular public destination for the San Francisco community. The Skedulo team in San Francisco spent the day removing litter, assembling sand bags, and preparing the trails for the upcoming rain storm.
